The World Behind the Eyes is the first full-length LP from Gōst Pepper. It features collaborations with Tamarin on “W___t On Me” and “Connection Lost.” The project incorporates electronic, pop, and hip-hop influences, with cinematic effects and sound design to create stories. Though the songs were written separately they come together to form a narrative arc through the album. The nine track album is a collection of songs written over the course of 2019 and 2020. The release of the album was also slightly delayed due to an interpolation of lyrics and melody from “The Trial” by Pink Floyd. The track was edited prior to release to avoid copyright infringement after the interpolation request was denied. The album was released on May 21, 2021.
